Health Connect is an advanced cloud-based Clinic and Patient Management System (EHR) designed for healthcare facilities of all sizes. The platform offers comprehensive multi-clinic support, multi-language capabilities, RTL support, SMS notifications, WooCommerce compatibility, telemedicine integration, and seamless payment processing through M-pesa, Paypal, and Paystack. Built to streamline healthcare operations, Health Connect provides tools for appointment scheduling, patient records management, inventory tracking, customized invoicing, digital prescriptions, and telemedicine consultations. The system supports healthcare providers globally with features like Google Calendar integration, Twilio SMS notifications, and an integrated medical essentials online store.

My Role and Contributions

• Backend Architecture & API Development: Designed and developed the complete backend infrastructure and RESTful API, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance for handling clinic operations and patient data management. 

• Admin Dashboard Development: Built a comprehensive admin dashboard with advanced features for clinic management, appointment scheduling, patient records, inventory tracking, and detailed analytics reporting. 

• Team Leadership: Coordinated and led the development team, managing project timelines, code reviews, and ensuring best practices throughout the development lifecycle. 

• Payment Gateway Integration: Successfully integrated multiple payment methods including M-pesa for mobile payments, PayPal for international transactions, and Paystack for local payment processing, ensuring secure and seamless financial transactions.
